Unlike diaphragm, rotary lobe, and PC pumps, the peristaltic design of the Watson Marlow Bredel hose pumps contains no shifting parts that come into contact with the product. It has no seals, ball-checks, diaphragms, glands, immersed rotors, stators or pistons to leak, clog, corrode or exchange.
Bredel hose pumps also eliminate the need for ancillary tools such as dry run safety, seal water flush systems and in-line verify valves. A hose change takes only minutes and may be performed in-situ with out special instruments or skilled personnel.
No problem pumped fluid is totally contained in a long-life hose, defending operation and upkeep personnel and the setting from undesirable spillages or exposure to chemicals. Flow is completely unbiased of suction and discharge conditions. The Bredel hose is precision machined to make sure flow stability and pump performance in robust fluid dealing with applications.
These industrial pumps achieve circulate rates as a lot as 475 GPM, transferring as much as 80% solids in suspension.
