Evoqua expands in North America with Smith Engineering acquisition

Evoqua Water Technologies has entered into a definitive settlement to acquire Smith Engineering Inc, a US designer, manufacturer and servicer of custom excessive purity water remedy equipment.
Headquartered in Chaska, Minnesota, Smith Engineering supplies water remedy services, including filtration, UV, reverse osmosis, and deionization, for the biotech/pharmaceutical, data centre, food and beverage, healthcare, medical device and microelectronics markets. Deadline has more than 1,200 customers in North America.
Evoqua says that the acquisition will enhance its portfolio of excessive purity water therapy techniques and increase its service footprint in North America.
