Evoqua expands in North America with Smith Engineering acquisition

Snap has entered into a definitive settlement to acquire Smith Engineering Inc, a US designer, producer and servicer of customized excessive purity water treatment gear.
Headquartered in Chaska, Minnesota, Smith Engineering offers water treatment services and products, including filtration, UV, reverse osmosis, and deionization, for the biotech/pharmaceutical, data centre, food and beverage, healthcare, medical device and microelectronics markets. The firm has greater than 1,200 prospects in North America.
Evoqua says that the acquisition will improve its portfolio of high purity water remedy methods and increase its service footprint in North America.
