Evoqua expands in North America with Smith Engineering acquisition

Evoqua Water Technologies has entered into a definitive agreement to amass Smith Engineering Inc, a US designer, manufacturer and servicer of custom excessive purity water therapy tools.
Headquartered in Chaska, Minnesota, Smith Engineering provides water treatment products and services, together with filtration, UV, reverse osmosis, and deionization, for the biotech/pharmaceutical, data centre, food and beverage, healthcare, medical system and microelectronics markets. The company has greater than 1,200 clients in North America.
Evoqua says that the acquisition will improve its portfolio of high purity water remedy methods and broaden its service footprint in North America.
